teaching style & Expectations
At our first lesson, I will assess the student to determine the appropriate leveI to begin with. I work at the students desired pace while offering challenges throughout the course of our lessons.
I expect students to practice three to five times per week at 20-30 minute intervals. Students are also expected to complete all Theory homework assigned in the previous lesson.
repertoire
I work in the Faber Piano Adventures Series. All students must acquire the Lesson and Theory Books. Performance Books are optional.
Students may request to work on pop/musical theatre/jazz songs which will be selected at the teacher's discretion. No more than 1/3 of the lesson time will be used for this purpose.
Students are given the option to perform in the bi-annual recital held virtually or in-person at the end of each school year term.
offerings
I teach 30/45/60 minute lessons weekly or bi-weekly.
Lessons are available virtually, in-person in the student's home (must have piano or keyboard) or at my home.
